Parents: Alejandro Amestoy
2016 at WBU: Played in 19 games for the Pioneers...First team All-SAC...he scored seven goals and dished out two assists.
2014 at WBU: Played in 18 games for the Pioneers...he scored three goals and totaled six points.
Prior to WBU: Played at San Jacinto College…First Team all-conference and all-region…first team all-American in 2013.
Why did you choose to come to Wayland? I decided to come to Wayland because of the soccer program.
How did you get started playing soccer and how old were you? I think I was five years old when I first kicked a ball.
What has been your proudest athletic achievement to date? Becoming a 1st team all-American
What do you feel like you bring to your team, both athletically and personally? Hard work, experience and leadership
What are you goals for the future after college? Graduate and stay in the U.S. doing physical therapy. I’d also like to play professional soccer worldwide.
