High school awards/honors: Lettered in football 3 years at South Houston High School…all-district in 2013   

Why did you choose to come to Wayland and represent the Pioneers? I chose to come to Wayland because Wayland offered me a football scholarship.

How did you get started playing football and how old were you? I started
playing football at the age of 12 because all of my uncles played so I wanted to play.

What has been your proudest athletic achievement to date? My proudest athletic achievement was beating our rivals for the first time, 49-40.

What do you feel like you bring to your team, both athletically and personally? I feel that I can be a good guard for the team and can help the offense by doing my job. I bring a positive attitude.

What are your goals for the future after college? My goal is to become a football coach after college and work my way up to becoming a head football coach.
