High School: Lettered in swimming four years at El Paso High School…all-district selection from 2010-2013…first team all-city in 2011…all-region from 2011-2013…all-state in 2013...holds the school record in the 50-yard and 100-yard freestyle.
Why did you choose to come to Wayland and represent the Pioneers? To be a part of the first Wayland swim team.
How did you get started swimming and how old were you? I started when I was sevenyears old. I joined a swim team because I loved being in the water.
What has been your proudest athletic achievement to date? When I raced a 24-year-old Olympic trial swimmer in Las Cruces and beat him.
What do you feel like you bring to your team, both athletically and personally? I bring my sprinting ability and I’m a committed, dedicated person that will not back down from a challenge.
