A native of Rio Rancho, N.M., Napier joined the WBU wrestling program in 2012. He was a two-time national qualifier for the Pioneers, earning all-American honors in 2016 when he placed fifth at nationals.

He's been on the coaching staff since earning his Bachelor's degree in General Christian Studies in 2016. Napier served as acting head coach for the men's and women's programs during the 2021-22 academic year.

Mich and his wife, Tabetha, have two sons, Elijah and John. He enjoys spending time with friends and family.
