High School: Lettered in wrestling four years at Piedra Vista High School…named to the all-state wrestling team as a sophomore in high school
Why did you choose to come to Wayland and represent the Pioneers? I chose to attend Wayland so that I could get more experience in wrestling.
How did you get started wrestling and how old were you? I started wrestling because I thought it was fun. I started when I was four years old.
What has been your proudest athletic achievement to date? Going undefeated my junior year and pinning or winning by technical fall all of my matches at the state tournament.
What do you feel like you bring to your team, both athletically and personally? I am a leader. I like to work hard and help my practice partners become better wrestlers.
What are you goals for the future after college? I want to be a mechanical engineer, have my own business and coach wrestling.
