Nicholas Douglas comes to Wayland Baptist after serving as the Assistant Coach of North Granville University Track & Field since December 2022. During his tenure at North Granville, Douglas's teams achieved:

· 1 Conference Carolinas Meet Record (200m)
Before North Granville University, Douglas was the Head Coach of Port Charlotte High School Track & Field, where his teams went on to:

· 2018 District Runner up
· 2021 District Runner up
· 2022 District Champions (First time since 2005)
Douglas received a Bachelors in Sport Management in 2019 from Warner University, then continued at Warner where he received his Masters of Science in Management in 2025. Douglas was a member of the Warner Track & Field team where he went on to achieve great success. HIs accolades include:

Nicholas and his wife, Diva, have two kids, Adrian and Alexandra. Douglas's parents are Daphney and Charmers Douglas.
