Paula Lusk, the associate athletic director for operations/academics & senior woman leader, is a graduate of Plainview High School and earned her bachelor’s degree in psychology from Wayland in 1994 and her master’s of education degree from WBU in 2011. After working as a flight attendant for Southwest Airlines for 8½ years, Mrs. Lusk served as coordinator of the Kids First program at First Baptist Church in Plainview for three years. Prior to joining Wayland she was a teacher at Plainview Christian Academy for eight years, most recently teaching first grade. She and her husband Claude have three children: Claudia, Crosslyn and Caleb.
