Damion Lovato led the Pioneers to a 4-1 record last week with wins over Lubbock Christian and MidAmerica Nazarene. Lovato hit three home runs, one of which was the go-ahead home run in what was a tie game in the fifth inning of game three against MNU. Lovato also made several game-saving plays over the week, robbing home runs against both LCU and MNU. The senior from Farmington, N.M. hit .412 on the week, driving in nine while scoring seven runs.
