Ariel helped the WBU volleyball team to a pair of Sooner Athletic Conference victories: 25-22, 25-18, 25-23 at home over then league-leading Oklahoma-Panhandle State and 22-25, 25-20, 25-22, 25-23 on the road over John Brown University. Ariel, a 5-foot-4 senior defensive specialist from Amarillo, led the Pioneers in digs in both matches, logging 15 against OPSU and 14 against JBU. She totaled nine assists and an ace.
