The women's soccer team had an incredible year in 2013, setting the school record for wins with 13, and advancing to the Sooner Athletic Conference semifinal match. The Pioneers hosted their first post season match in the opening round of the SAC Tournament where they defeated USAO, 1-0, advancing to the semifinals. Wayland gave John Brown, the eventual SAC Champions, everything they could handle, taking the Golden Eagles to double overtime before losing a heart breaker in a 4-3 shootout.

Emarie Holland capped of a superb career by being named SAC Offensive Player of the Week twice and make the All-SAC second team. Holland now holds 14 different school records.

Jessica Bell, Zoe Benson and Camille Borneo join Holland on the All-SAC second team, while Madison Abbott, Haley Reiser and Katherine Teinert were named NAIA Scholar Athletes.
