Taval Whittaker lifted the Pioneers over Mid-America Christian Saturday with a game-winning shot 30 seconds into overtime. The shot from 30 yards out gave Wayland its first Sooner Athletic Conference win of the year. Whittaker, a sophomore from St. Catherine, Jamaica, had an assist in the match to go along with his sixth goal of the season.
