Senior Alexis Browner made her final collegiate meet an impressive one, winning two individual and two relay events and leading the Pioneers to the NAIA Outdoor Track & Field National Championships title. Browner won the 100 meters (11.43 seconds) and 200 meters (23.48) and helped the 4x100 (44.91) and 4x400 relays (school-record 3:38.72) to victories. Coach Rohan Thompson called Browner part of a group of sprinters – along with senior Gregria Higgs, juniors Kesley Gittens and Bianca Farrington, and freshmen Rochene Smith and Monique McPherson – that “is the best I’ve ever had, and I’ve had some good ones. Everyone was walking about how dominant they were. Those girls have worked their tails off."
