Telecia was Wayland’s lone event national champion when the Pioneer women won the NAIA Outdoor Track & Field National Championships in Gulf Shores, Ala. The freshman won the 100 hurdles with a time of 13.70 seconds. She also finished third in the long jump with a leap of 19 feet, 4¼ inches (5.90m).
