Jack helped the third-ranked Pioneers to a pair of road wins to open Sooner Athletic Conference play, 77-65 over Southwestern Christian and 68-54 over Oklahoma City University. The 6-foot-6 senior forward from Trophy Club, Texas, a transfer from Collin College, led Wayland in scoring and rebounding in both games, scoring 19 points against each opponent and collecting a total of 17 rebounds. The 19 points were a season-high and were the second-highest totals of his career. Jack turned in his first double-double (19 points, 10 rebounds) of the season and fourth of his WBU career against SCU when he also was credited with three assists, one block and a steal.

He shot 65 percent (9-of-14) from the field as Wayland defeated OCU for the fifth straight time. For the week, Jack shot 55 percent from the field (16-of-29) and 63 percent (5-of-8) from the free-throw line. He also hit his first 3-pointer of the young season.

Head coach Ty Harrelson credited Nobles for taking some of the slack off the NAIA’s top scorer, J.J. Culver, saying as defenses pay more attention to J.J., the Pioneers must have other players step up. “Fortunately, Jack was ready,” Harrelson said. “I think Jack may have had the best weekend since we've had him.”
