Caden, a freshman from Haslet, Texas, led the eSports Rocket League team to its first-ever win, topping the University of Cumberlands (Ky.) last Tuesday, 3-0.

After the Overwatch team secured the first victory in the two-year history of Wayland’s eSports on Oct. 1 then won again Oct. 5, Page captained the Rocket League team to its initial triumph.

“It was down to the wire…really intense. We won 3-0 but each game was close. It was not very high scoring, maybe four points each game," coach Duncan Sweeney said.

Caden was joined by senior Levi Kasner and junior Trey Robillard.

“Caden is just a freshman, but he’s already stepped up as team captain and pushed the team forward to see where they can go,” Sweeney said.
