At the Oklahoma Baptist University Last Chance Meet, Jessica Echols qualified for nationals in two events. The freshman from Diana, Texas, met the “A” qualifying standard in the 400-meter hurdles with a time of 1 minute, 3.63 seconds. In the 100 hurdles, she ran a 14.91, just missing the “A” qualifying standard by 1/100^th of a second while meeting the “B” standard. Echols placed second in the 400 hurdles and fourth in the 100 hurdles.
