Former Wayland Baptist standout Tatiana Gonzalez is the graduate assistant coach for the Pioneer volleyball team. Tatiana is a native of Bogata, Colombia, where she represented her city and national volleyball teams beginning at age 9. She played volleyball at Pratt Community College in Pratt, Kan., prior to transferring to Wayland where she played volleyball for two seasons, earning All-Sooner Athletic Conference Second Team honors both years while helping the Pioneers to a pair of 20-win seasons. She graduated from Wayland in 2012 with a degree in graphic design. After graduation, she coached high school volleyball in Colombia and also helped coach Colombia’s under-22 men’s national team. In her spare time Tatiana enjoys drawing and painting.
