Trailblazers honored in Waco

WACO -- Members of the 1953-58 Wayland Baptist Flying Queens recently were honored during the women's basketball game between top-ranked Baylor and Kentucky.

The former Flying Queens were responsible for a still national record 131-game winning streak and are being honored by the Women's Basketball Hall of Fame as Trailblazers of the Game.

The former Flying Queens and coach Harley Redin will be honored at the WBHOF in Knoxville, Tenn., this coming summer.
