Plancarte again voted SAC Defensive Player of Week

For the second time this season, Wayland Baptist freshman goalkeeper Palemon Plancarte has been named the Sooner Athletic Conference Men's Soccer Defensive Player of the Week.
 
Plancarte, of Houston, allowed just one goal in wins over St. Gregory's University (2-1) and Mid-America Christian University (1-0). He recorded a total of six saves, and the shutout against MACU was Plancarte's fourth of the season.
 
Plancarte also was recognized on Sept. 21 following back-to-back shutouts against Texas-Permian Basin and Our Lady of the Lake University.
 
CSFL Offensive Player of the Week is Stephen Osusu of No. 21 USAO. The senior scored three goals and had six assists in victories over Bacone and John Brown.
 
The Pioneers (6-3-2 overall, 2-2-0 CSFL) play their next three matches on the road, beginning with Saturday's 3 p.m. contest in Waxahachie against Southwestern Assemblies of God University (5-7-1, 0-4).
