Hutch Hysteria gave Wayland Baptist basketball fans a glimpse at the 2016-17 Flying Queens and Pioneers through team introductions, 3-point and slam dunk competitions, and an intrasquad scrimmage. Fans participated in several games to win prizes.

The No. 22 Flying Queens scrimmage Howard College at 2 p.m. Saturday in the Hutch then open the season Nov. 8 in Hobbs, N.M., against University of the Southwest. The Pioneers play an exhibition at Lubbock Christian at 7 p.m. Tuesday. Both the Flying Queens and Pioneers play their first home games Nov. 10 against Northern New Mexico.
