Rossanna Ramos has been named Sooner Athletic Conference Defender of the Week for the fifth time this season.
Ramos, a 5-foot-7 libero from Catano, Puerto Rico, helped the Pioneers (21-13, 14-2) to Sooner Athletic Conference sweeps over Science and Arts of Oklahoma (25-21, 25-20, 25-13) and St. Gregory's (25-21, 25-14, 25-20) last week.
She recorded 21 digs against USAO and 23 against St. Greg's, an average of 7.33 per game.

th in the NAIA in total digs (623) and 16
th in digs per game (5.6).
Waylands ends the regular-season with two home matches this week, hosting sixth-place Southwestern Assemblies of God University (15-15, 7-9) at 7 p.m. Friday then third-place Texas Wesleyan (25-4, 12-4) at 11 a.m. Saturday. The Pioneers must win at least one match to secure the No. 2 seed in the conference tournament and play in the opposite bracket of No. 12 and likely SAC regular-season champion Oklahoma City University (26-3, 17-0).
