SAC Volleyball Tourney Final Four Info

Tickets for this weekend's Sooner Athletic Conference Volleyball Tournament semifinals and finals in Oklahoma City must be purchased using a credit card and can purchased in advance or at the door at this address.

Ticket cost per session is $7 for adults and $5 for ages 18 and under.
 
Fourth-seeded Wayland Baptist (22-10) takes on top-seeded Texas Wesleyan (24-5) at 4 p.m. Friday in one semifinal. In the second semi, No. 7 seed John Brown (16-17) takes on third-seeded Southwestern Assemblies of God (24-8) at 6.
 
The semifinal winners square off in the championship at 1 p.m. Saturday.

Texas Wesleyan def. Science & Arts, 3-0
FORT WORTH, Texas – Texas Wesleyan extended its winning string to 15 matches with a 25-16, 25-13, 25-13 victory over Science & Arts on Tuesday.  
Bailey Foy powered the Lady Rams (24-5) with 14 kills, while Morgan Burns posted her 10th double-double of the season with 37 assists and 11 digs. Nyia Anderson chipped in 11 kills, and Skylar Warde picked up 12 digs for Texas Wesleyan. 
Science & Arts (12-20) reached postseason play for the first time in program history and collected its most victories ever. 

John Brown def. Oklahoma City, 3-1 
OKLAHOMA CITY – John Brown upended Oklahoma City University 17-25, 25-20, 25-21, 25-19 on Tuesday at Abe Lemons Arena. 
Savanna Riney pounded 19 kills for John Brown (16-17), and Lauren Cloud turned in 28 assists and 10 digs. Jillian Blackman rang up 26 digs to reach 25 digs for the eighth time this year.  
Oklahoma City's Ella Lofton totaled 17 kills and 12 digs, while Sophia Salak accumulated 44 assists, two aces and two blocks. Lofton made the top five in OCU history with 1,119 career kills, and Salak increased her program career record to 3,498 assists. 

Wayland Baptist def. Mid-America Christian, 3-2 
PLAINVIEW, Texas – Wayland Baptist came out on top 25-22, 22-25, 25-19, 22-25, 15-12 over Mid-America Christian on Tuesday at the Hutcherson Center, overcoming a four-point deficit in the fifth set. 
In the fifth set, Allison Porter smacked a kill to give Mid-America Christian a 6-2 lead. The Pioneers (22-10) responded with an 8-2 run. Wayland got kills from Jayla Schultz, Tatijana Markic and two by Lucie Mahelova to spark the surge. 
Hanna Foecker's kill rallied Mid-America to a 12-11 deficit, but back-to-back kills by Alexa Hinojos and Schultz brought up match point. Schultz clinched Wayland Baptist's win with a kill. 
Five Pioneers had double-digit kills led by Markic, Schultz and Paxton Patterson with 11 kills each. Mahelova produced 44 assists and 20 digs, and Ariel Marquez tracked down 24 digs. 
Foecker sparked Mid-America with 27 kills and 19 digs, while Lena Stockhammer piled up 52 assists and 20 digs. Stockhammer had her fifth 50-assist outing of the year. 

Southwestern Assemblies of God def. Panhandle State, 3-0 
WAXAHACHIE, Texas – Southwestern Assemblies of God swept its way to a 25-13, 25-17, 25-14 win over Panhandle State on Tuesday at the Sheaffer Center. 
Alexis Mealer topped the Lady Lions (24-8) with 14 kills, while Riley Burcham supplied Southwestern Assemblies of God with 34 assists and 13 digs. 
McKenna Coppock tracked down 13 digs for Panhandle State.
