Wayland Baptist is ranked the equivalent of 29
th in the NAIA Volleyball Coaches' Top 25 poll, and the Pioneers are the top-rated team in the Sooner Athletic Conference.

This is the first time WBU has garnered Top 25 votes this season. Wayland (14-4, 7-1 SAC) is riding a six-match winning streak and is coming off home wins over then league-leading Southwestern Assemblies of God (13-5, 7-2) and Texas Wesleyan (10-5, 7-2).

Besides Wayland, other SAC teams earning Top 25 votes are SAGU, ranked the equivalent of 34
th, and Oklahoma City, the equivalent of 38
th. OCU (7-5, 6-2) previously was ranked No. 23.

The Pioneers head to Oklahoma City to take on the Stars at 7 p.m. Friday, followed by a game at Southwestern Christian (5-8, 2-6) at 11 a.m. Saturday.

WBU was scheduled to play at Lubbock Christian this past Tuesday, but that match was rescheduled for Oct. 25 at LCU. The Pioneers will be looking to avenge a three-set loss to the Lady Chaps on Sept. 7.
