The Wayland Baptist eSports program will host a summer camp focused on Super Smash Bros. Ultimate.

The camp, to be directed by WBU eSports coach
Duncan Sweeney, is for ages 10-13 and will be held June 13-17 in the WBU eSports computer lab, aka the "Meadows Mothership," located on campus in the basement of the Mabee Learning Resources Center. Times are 8 a.m.-noon each day.

Cost is $125 per person, which includes a camp T-shirt. (Wayland employees can save $25.)
Here are the main goals campers can expect to work toward during the camp:
- Experience Super Smash Bros. Ultimate at a high level
- Watch and analyze tournament footage
- Practice commentary
- Learn game theory and techniques
- Tournament etiquetteÂ
- Dealing with anxiety in gaming
- Learn about college eSports
- Make friends who love video games
