Super Smash Bros. Ultimate camp set

For ages 10-13 June 13-17

The Wayland Baptist eSports program will host a summer camp focused on Super Smash Bros. Ultimate.
 
The camp, to be directed by WBU eSports coach Duncan Sweeney, is for ages 10-13 and will be held June 13-17 in the WBU eSports computer lab, aka the "Meadows Mothership," located on campus in the basement of the Mabee Learning Resources Center. Times are 8 a.m.-noon each day.
 
Cost is $125 per person, which includes a camp T-shirt. (Wayland employees can save $25.)

Here are the main goals campers can expect to work toward during the camp:
  • Experience Super Smash Bros. Ultimate at a high level
  • Watch and analyze tournament footage
  • Practice commentary
  • Learn game theory and techniques
  • Tournament etiquette 
  • Dealing with anxiety in gaming
  • Learn about college eSports
  • Make friends who love video games
