Goodwell, OK – Wayland Baptist University and Oklahoma Panhandle State University faced off in Sooner Athletic Conference women's soccer action Saturday. The Pioneers were aggressive offensively as they had 14 shots compared to 5 by OPSU. Wayland also had had more shots on goal than the Aggies, 6-3. However, OPSU was able to put two shots into the net and came away with a 2-0 victory.
The Aggies scored both goals in the first half, in the 23
rd minute and again in the 34
th minute.
Andrea Gutierrez Melo had two shots on goal for the Pioneers.

The Pioneers return home Thursday, October 24 to take on #19 John Brown University at 5:00 PM.
