Plainview – The Wayland Baptist men's soccer team finished the regular season in 5
th place and qualified for the Sooner Athletic Conference postseason tournament. The Pioneers will travel to Fort Worth and take on the 4
th seed Texas Wesleyan Rams. All first-round contests of the tournament will be held on Wednesday, November 6, with all matches starting at 7 PM.

Robert Ssejjemba shared these thoughts about the tournament, "The conference tournament is a season of its own. I think managing expectations is very important. We are coming into this tournament more rested and I feel we will rise the demands of the moment mentally and physically."
MACU finished as the #1 seed and will face #8 seed Nelson University. #2 seed John Brown University hosts #7 seed USAO. Oklahoma City University, the #3 seed, plays #7 seed Southwestern Christian.
The conference semifinals will take place Saturday, November 9, at the home of the highest remaining seed, with the championship game being played on Tuesday, November 12.
