Kansas City – The 17
th ranked Pioneer Women's Wrestling squad traveled north to Kansas City to compete in the Avila University Eagle Duals this past weekend where they went 1-3 with their victory coming against the host school, Avila University.
Wayland Baptist took on Indian Hills Community College in their first dual of the meet, and the scoring was extremely close between the two teams. Indian Hills narrowly edged the Pioneers 26-19, despite the Pioneers earning two wins via decision and two by way of falls.

RV Saint Mary's University (Kan.) in a tough battle that was decided by a couple of decisions that unfortunately did not fall in Wayland Baptist's favor. Saint Mary's was able to take down the Pioneers, 29-18.
