Game Recap: Women's Soccer |

Pioneer Women's Soccer Falls on the Road in Conference Opener

Oklahoma City, OK – The Pioneer women's soccer team traveled to Oklahoma City to face Mid-America Christian University in the first Sooner Athletic Conference game for both teams.  The host team scored a goal in the 3rd minute and added three more goals in a four minute span, between the 29th and 33rd minutes, to take a 4-0 lead into the half on their way to a 6-0 victory.

Ashley Perez led the Pioneer's on offense with two shots on goals. Cecilia Lopez and Hayde' Gallardo each added a shot on goal for Wayland.

The Pioneers play Central Christian College Tuesday, October 1 at 1:00 PM in McPherson, Kansas.
