KANSAS --- Jordan Suarez of No. 10 Wayland Baptist University (Texas) has been named the KCAC/Sooner Athletic Conference Women's Wrestler of the Week, the KCAC conference office announced Monday.
Suarez was selected for her performances from Nov. 10-16 by a vote of the conference's Sports Information Directors. The KCAC and Sooner merged to one national qualifying group in women's wrestling in 2025-26 and have chosen to honor one Women's Wrestler of the Week between the two conferences. All KCAC Player of the Week honors are presented byÂ

Suarez dominated the 2025 Lindenwood Duals, finishing with a 4-0 record and picking up wins over athletes from NCAA Division III #11 Simpson College, #8 Lindsey Wilson, NCAA Division II #2 McKendree, and Quincy University.
Suarez, the #2 ranked NAIA Women's Wrestler in the 145 pound division, picked up three wins by Technical Fall and one by Fall.
For the meet, Suarez defeated Annelise Obermark (Simpson College) by Technical Fall, 10-0, Valeria Rodriguez (Quincy) by Fall, 8-0, Anabele Rodriguez (McKendree) by Technical Fall, 10-0, and Kori Campbell (Lindsey Wilson, #6 ranked in 145 pound class) by Technical Fall, 10-0.

th ranked Pioneers will hit the mat again on Friday, November 21
st, when they travel to Marshall, Missouri to compete in the Missouri Valley Open.
