GREENVILLE, SC. --- Wayland Baptist senior midfielder
Francis Motsi has been recognized as a 2025 NCCAA Division 1 Men's Soccer All-American, per the NCCAA offices.
A native of Harare, Zimbabwe, Motsi capped off his Pioneer career with one of the best individual seasons in program history. In addition to this All-American honor, Motsi also earned 2025 SAC Men's Soccer Offensive Player of the Year honors, becoming the first player in program history to win the award.
Motsi finished the 2025 season with team-highs in goals (9), assists (8), shots (76), and shots on goal (44). Motsi had many incredible performances throughout the 2025 season, but two that stand out were at Texas Wesleyan on September 27
th and at Science & Arts on October 18
th.
In the Pioneers 3-2 victory at Texas Wesleyan, Motsi finished with five points (two goals and an assist). In the Pioneers 3-2 win at Science & Arts, Motsi finished with three points after assisting on all three of the Pioneers goals.
