Wayland Baptist University Beach Volleyball continued its 2026 campaign at the UMHBeach Frozen February tournament hosted by University of Mary Hardin-Baylor in Belton.
The Pioneers went 3-1 on the weekend, earning team victories over East Texas Baptist University (4-1), Howard Payne University (5-0), and Texas Wesleyan University (3-2). Wayland showed depth throughout the lineup, responding well in tight matches and finishing strong in key moments — particularly in the narrow win over Texas Wesleyan.
Wayland's lone loss came in a tightly contested 3-2 dual against UMHB, with several courts going down to the wire. The competitive showing highlighted the Pioneers' continued growth as they move forward in their third tournament of the 2026 season.
