2026 WBU Volleyball Schedule is Finalized, Will Play Host to 11 SAC Matches

PLAINVIEW – The WBU Volleyball squad has finalized their 2026 schedule that will feature 11 home Sooner Athletic Conference matches.

Head Coach Lucie Mahelova enters her second season as head coach of the Pioneers, and they will be looking to build off a strong 2025 season that saw them take 4^th in the SAC with a 15-12 overall record and 14-8 in SAC play.

The Pioneers will begin their 2026 season with two non-conference tournaments. The first event will take place on August 21-22 in Oklahoma City as they take place in the Stars Invitational where they will compete against LSU-Shreveport, Oklahoma Wesleyan, and Evangel (M.O.). Then, they will travel to Parkville, MO for the Park Invitational on August 27-28.

Wayland Baptist will begin Sooner Athletic Conference play on September 4^th in McPherson, Kansas against Central Christian College (Kan.). The 2026 home schedule for the Pioneers includes:

• September 11^th vs. Science & Arts (Okla.)
• September 12^th vs. Mid-America Christian (Okla.)
• September 25^th vs. Southwestern Christian
• September 26^th vs. Oklahoma City
• October 7^th vs. Oklahoma Panhandle State
• October 9^th vs. Langston
• October 10^th vs. Central Christian College (Kan.)
• October 23^rd vs. College of the Ozarks (M.O.)
• October 24^th vs. John Brown
• November 6^th vs. Nelson (T.X.)
• November 7^th vs. Texas Wesleyan
