High School: Lettered in cross country and track at El Dorado HS for four years…district champion in track and field

Why did you choose to come to Wayland? I liked the small school atmosphere because it reminds me of home.

How did you get started running cross country and how old were you? I used to have to run each time I got in trouble at home.

What has been your proudest athletic achievement to date? I finished in the top 50 for the 800 meters in the national competition my junior year of high school.

What do you feel like you bring to your team, both athletically and personally? My “never say die” attitude and my work ethic.

What are your goals for the future after college? I want to help the team win consecutive conference and national championships.
