High School: Lettered in cross country three years and track two years at Socorro HS…regional qualifier in cross country from 2009-2012…regional qualifier in track in 2012…2^nd team all-city for cross country in 2012…holds the school record for the 1600 and 3200 meters

Why did you choose to come to Wayland? I came to Wayland to run and get my education.

How did you get started running cross country and how old were you? When I was in middle school I ran home and I’ve enjoyed running ever since.

What has been your proudest athletic achievement to date? Establishing new records at my high school and becoming a college athlete.

What do you feel like you bring to your team, both athletically and personally? I bring comic relief yet strong determination. I bring my best every day and will not stop until I’ve hit the top.

What are your goals for the future after college? Become successful and happy.
