Biography

Parents/Guardians: Curt and Dana Cook

2013 at WBU: Threw 41.2 two innings for Wayland while starting seven games…hit .321 in 28 at bats…recorded two doubles and six RBIs

Prior to WBU: Played at Lamar Community College in 2012.

High School: Lettered in baseball four years at Clovis HS…first team all-Arizona in 2009…all-district from 2008-2011.

Why did you choose to come to Wayland? I came to Wayland because of the great history of the school and to help WBU get to the NAIA World Series.

How did you get started playing baseball and how old were you? I grew up learning how to play from my dad when I was very young, and have loved playing the game ever since.

What has been your proudest athletic achievement to date? Making first-team as pitcher in Arizona as a sophomore.

What do you feel like you bring your team, both athletically and personally? A strong desire to win and leave nothing behind.

What are your goals for the future after college? Serve the Lord and let him direct my path in life.
