Prior to WBU: Played at Kansas State in 2013…hit .262 in 17 games for KSU with two doubles and seven RBI…Played two seasons for the New Mexico Junior College (2011-12)... Helped team earn a conference runner-up finish in 2012 as he hit .374 in 34 games with five doubles, one triple, five home runs and 30 RBI... Also held a .448 on-base percentage as a sophomore... Hit .333 (10-of-30) in 16 games as a freshman with one double, one triple and two RBI

High School: Lettered two years Piedra Vista High School... Helped team win a state championship in 2010 after a runner-up finish in 2009

Why did you choose to come to Wayland? I came to Wayland because it was a good opportunity to pursue my baseball career.

How did you get started playing baseball and how old were you? I started playing baseball with my dad at the age of five. He was my biggest influence to push me to succeed.

What has been your proudest athletic achievement to date? My proudest moment was winning my first high school baseball championship in 2010 after being injured.

What do you feel like you bring your team, both athletically and personally? I believe athletically I bring the team a solid lie-up player who does what is best for the team. Personally, I am a hard-working player who loves the competition baseball brings.  

What are your goals for the future after college? My goals are to be drafted after this year. I also plan on becoming a physical therapist.
