2013 at WBU: Hit .309 in 30 games for Wayland…had three doubles and two home runs in limited action due to a knee injury

Prior to WBU: Played at Cisco College in 2011 and 2012…member of 2012 conference and regional championship team…made the all-conference team.

High School: Lettered in baseball four years at Crockett HS…freshman of the year…all-district sophomore, junior and senior year…all-state third baseman.

Why did you choose to come to Wayland? The coaches made me feel like I was at home.

How did you get started playing baseball and how old were you? My mom and grandpa played softball and baseball. I started when I was four.

What has been your proudest athletic achievement to date? When we won the conference and the regional tournament, and made it to the World Series last year.  

What do you feel like you bring your team, both athletically and personally? I came from a winning team and I know how to get the job done, so maybe I can bring that with me.

What are your goals for the future after college? Play professional baseball and become a coach.
