Why did you choose to come to Wayland? I was grateful to be recruited in the first place. I also feel like Wayland was exactly what I was looking for in a school. It’s small and it was the best fit of all the schools that I visited.
How did you get started playing soccer and how old were you? I was seven years old when I started playing soccer. Soccer was always a big part of family activities. It was something that I always enjoyed and something I was naturally good at.
What has been your proudest athletic achievement to date? Becoming a leader on my teams. I used to be very selfish and egotistical when it came to being a teammate. I’m proud to say that in my high school experience I learned to play as a team and to be a good role model as a captain and as a teammate.
What do you feel like you bring to your team, both athletically and personally? I feel that as a teammate I’m the one who always wants to see everyone shine. I’m the encouragement of the team and a hard worker. I give 110% in every practice and I will always make the run no matter what minute or what the score is.
What are you goals for the future after college? I anticipate becoming a successful business woman after college. I plan to move back to Houston and manage my own business alongside my family.
