Why did you choose to come to Wayland? I chose to be a Flying Queen at Wayland because I’ve always wanted to play college basketball and push my talent to its fullest potential. The history is rich, the people treated me like family and as I prayed for direction God told me Wayland.

How did you get started playing basketball and how old were you? My mother put a basketball in my hands when I was a baby. She played college basketball at WTAMU and I wanted to be just like my mom. I started in the 1st grade with Kid’s Inc.

What has been your proudest athletic achievement to date? Winning state in 3A in 2008.

What do you feel like you bring your team, both athletically and personally? I definitely bring height and and a winner’s attitude to my team. I lead with an encouraging spirit and servant leadership. I am aggressive and my passion for the sport pushes my teammates and myself to never quit till the end.

What are your goals for the future after college? Become a bilingual elementary school teacher and have a family.
