Who is your role model and why?
My role model is Amanda Martin. She was an amazing teacher and coach for me in high school. She gave me the push I needed to decide on eventually becoming a teacher and coach. She believed in me from the start and that’s something I’ll forever be grateful for. Her heart and passion shows in everything that she does and I hope I can pass that on to others someday.
Random fact about yourself
I have an adorable dog named Atticus James.
Extracurricular Activities and/or hobbies
I am apart of the Noyce Teacher Scholarship Program, Kappa Delta Pi Education Honor Society, and I am a representative for the NAIA’s Association of Student-Athletes. Some of my favorite hobbies are reading and spending time with my family.
What do you enjoy about being a student athlete?
I think the things I enjoy the most are the lessons I’ve learned from the sport to take into the real world and making the best of friendships that will last a lifetime.
