Former Pioneer player Elisabeth Piroli joined the WBU coaching staff as a graduate assistant in 2021. A native of Minas Geraris, Brazil, Piroli transferred to Wayland after playing volleyball at Polk State College in Winter Haven, Fla.  The 5-foot-10 Piroli played setter at Wayland during the 2016 and 2017 seasons.

She was named All-Sooner Athletic Conference Honorable Mention her senior season after leading the team with 9.8 assists per set, which ranked fourth in the conference. She ended that season with 999 assists and in two years produced 1,701. Piroli also had 27 aces her senior season.

Piroli earned conference academic recognition and was an NAIA Scholar-Athlete.
