Biography

Parents/Guardians: Steve and Cindy Cowan

2013 at WBU: Started in 10 games while playing in 24, primarily at second base…recorded his first extra-base hit as a Pioneer against Avila, a two run double on Feb. 22…picked up a save against Jamestown on Mar. 14

Prior to WBU: Played at Glendale Community College in 2011 and 2012.

High School: Lettered in baseball two years at Deer Valley HS…member of regional championship teams in 2009 and 2010…all-region team in 2009 and 2010.

Why did you choose to come to Wayland? To expand my knowledge and receive a degree while playing baseball.

How did you get started playing baseball and how old were you? My parents got me started when I was two years old.

What has been your proudest athletic achievement to date? Making it to the state championships in 2009.

What do you feel like you bring your team, both athletically and personally? Offense and defense, as well as a great attitude.

What are your goals for the future after college? Become a personal trainer or physical therapist.
