High School: Lettered in wrestling three years at Hereford High School…district champion and regional and state qualifier in 2012…district and regional champion in 2013 and 2014…placed third at state in 2013…state champion in 2014

Why did you choose to come to Wayland and represent the Pioneers? Represent the only college wrestling team in Texas and hopefully our team will inspire other Texas colleges to start a wrestling program.

How did you get started wrestling and how old were you? I started wrestling my freshman year out of curiosity of how tough the sport really was.

What has been your proudest athletic achievement to date? Making it to state my sophomore year before the division split between 4A and 5A.

What do you feel like you bring to your team, both athletically and personally? I will keep pushing forward.

What are you goals for the future after college? I want to become a coach and train state champions just as my coach did for me.
