Parents/Guardians: Ruben and Yvonne Waters

High School: Lettered in wrestling 4 years at Montwood high school…was named to the all-district, all-region and all-state teams in 2012…placed 4th at the state meet senior year

Why did you choose to come to Wayland? I felt I could do well with Wayland’s wrestling program.

How did you get started wresting and how old were you? Wrestling was a family tradition so I started at 7 years old.

What has been your proudest athletic achievement to date? Placing at state.

What do you feel like you bring your team, both athletically and personally? I’m a hard worker.

What are your goals for the future after college? Owning/running my own business.
