High School: Lettered in wrestling four years at South Grand Prairie High School…2013 wrestling team placed 7th at state meet…placed 3rd at state meet…national all-American team member
What made you choose to come to Wayland? It’s close to home, and it also gave me a chance to be a part of history.
How did you get started wrestling? My brother wrestled and I wanted to be like him. I started when I was 12.
What has been your proudest athletic achievement? Placing at state my senior year.
What do you feel you bring to your team? I feel like I keep the team alive mentally when it starts to fall. I also feel like I’m a great workout partner for the guys around my weight.
What are your plans after college? Become a national champion.
