Tamyra Mensah, a sophomore wrestler from Katy, won the 143-pound division at the Missouri Valley Open. She won her first two matches by pins and her last three by decision. In the finals she defeated defending national champion Krista Revelle of King College (Tenn.), the second time Mensah has beaten Revelle this year. Mensah surrendered only one point the entire tournament.
