A junior from Wellingborough, England, Ryan was named Sooner Athletic Conference Men's Golfer of the Week after finishing first in a field of 56 golfers at the San Antonio Shootout, firing rounds of 72, 71 and 72 for a 1-under 215 total at the TPC San Antonio. He helped the top-ranked Pioneers defeat No. 2 Oklahoma City by one stroke in the 10-team field. "He hit the ball so well all three rounds," coach Tom Harp said. "Ryan is getting more and more comfortable with himself, his game, managing a golf course. The more you learn those things, the more you learn how to make better decisions at the right time, and he's doing that. He's playing much more consistent golf."  In six events this academic year, Ryan has four top-five or better finishes, including another first (tie) at the Northwood Fall Shootout in October.
