At Sunday’s West Texas A&M Last Chance Meet in Canyon, the final outing before the NAIA National Championships, Brown ran a lifetime-best time of 10.68 seconds in the 100-meter dash, just missing a “B” national-qualifying standard. Brown is a senior from St. Petersburg, Fla., who transferred to Wayland after attending Northwest Kansas Technical College.
