Nick helped the Pioneers to a 31-7 victory over Lyon College (Ark.) in the football team's Sooner Athletic Conference opener. The 6-foot-1, 205-pound junior from San Antonio had only six incompletions in 33 pass attempts (82 percent), throwing for 219 yards and two touchdowns of seven and 13 yards. Quintero completed passes to 10 different players.
