Wendy, a senior right-side hitter from Italy, helped the volleyball team to a pair of Sooner Athletic Conference road wins over Science & Arts of Oklahoma and Mid-America Christian. Against S&A, she logged 11 kills and hit .304 while also blocking a season-high seven shots. In the win over MACU, which avenged an earlier loss, Wendy recorded 10 kills and had no errors in 21 swings and hit .476. She had six total blocks.
 
Wendy has stepped up in recent weeks after an injury to a teammate, helping the Pioneers (19-5, 12-2 SAC) to a share of the league lead and earn the equivalent to a No. 28 NAIA ranking.
